Default Switching birth control need help..(before appt tomorrow)

By my 6 week apt i was back down to my pre-pregnancy weight. I got mirena put in at my 6 wk appt (9-11) since then i have put on like 15lbs! i am back up to the weight i was 9 months pregnant. I am going tomorrow to have it removed for that reason. I have not changed my eating or activity since then so the only thing that has changed is the mirena.

What is a birthcontrol pill that wont affect my supply? What would you suggest as a bc. I am debating on just using condoms until i am done bf.
that way i wont have side affects with my body or my supply.

Many moms find they can use the mini pill with no adverse affects... with that said it tanked my supply both times I tried to take it postpartum with my DS2. We use condoms/NFP.

I do condoms now, but after my first I did Paragard copper IUD - no hormones. It worked great. The mini pill made me sick and affected my milk supply. Not everyone has that problem though.

I just use a copper IUD ( no hormones) and it is 99% effective I've been using it since august and have absolutely no problems with it so far! I'm allergic to Latex (so most condoms are out) & I get bad reactions to every pill i tried so this works great for me... plus it's good for 3-5 years ( my doc recommends 3 years) cost $250 ( my insurance covered $200!) and by the time I have it taken out ( in 3 years) thats when me and my boyfriend want to try again for another LO!

I've had great success with the Mini Pill, but it looks like it can be kind of hit or miss from what other people have posted. It didn't affect my supply at all and hasn't interfered with my weight loss.
