Default Help Please- Tylenol Cold & Sinus

Can anyone tell me if I can take this without causing supply issues. I feel miserable. Major post nasal drip and horrible cough

Any suggestions as far as what I might be able to take that is BF safe?

I've taken it with no problems. I'm also an allergic asthmatic and take Claritin. If you have any major questions about meds, though call your doctor.

Feel better soon!

Anything that decreases secretions- which antihistamines do- is at risk of decreasing your supply. But when I asked my lactation consultation about taking something for my drippy nose she said that taking them short term to get symptoms under control would likely not decrease my supply. She recommended taking the minimum dosage that worked for me, and to take it as infrequently as I could. She also suggested doubling my fluid intake and trying to get my lo to nurse every 2 hours instead of every 3. I didn't notice any problems with supply for taking benadryl for a couple of days.

Thanks, I am slowly feeling better. I was concerned about the drying effect. I took some for a cold I had in the fall and I thought I noticed a dip in supply. I have been drinking more water though to try and counteract.
