Thanks for checking up on us

Things are going so well. Ronin and Ryker are primarily at the breast! They both rarely get bottles now..

Which brings us to a new problem...they won't take a bottle from me! I don't mind them getting bottles occasionally..I have to be out of the room for them to take it..

Thanks for the update! It is so exciting to hear that you are breastfeeding them with success now! My dd won't take a bottle from me or with me in the building, for that matter, and I think that is pretty common. Great news!

Are you getting any rest ?

Erin, yeah, I"m getting some sleep! They're sleeping a good stretch. What sometimes will happen is that one baby will sleep and the other one wants to nurse all night. Fortunately, I got the hang of the side lying position :

Boy thats a relief isn't it!! I finally got that about a week and a half ago. I thought I was going to really lose it from sleep dep.
Can you really blame your baby for not wanting a bottle from you when you have something SO much better??

Went to the Dr today for their 2 month check up and thought I'd let you guys know what their weights are:

Ronin who's birthweight was 4 lbs 11 oz is now 9 lbs 6 oz
Ryker who's birthweight was 5 lbs 12 oz is now 11 lbs 2 oz.

I feel so good that it's just mama's milk! I'm proud of myself for sticking to it!

Carpentergirl, of course not : They want their mama!
