    Would you be opposed to nursing him more when the two of you are together? I understand the appeal of having a routine/schedule, but a baby that is only 8 months old still needs to nurse on demand at least 6-8 times per day... and if you nurse him more when you are together that will help boost your supply so that you can potentially pump more when you are apart from him.

    My journey nursing MJ started HERE, but we got through it and she breastfed 19.5 months, self-weaned on 5/17/09


    Mom to my current nursling, DS - "ME" born 10/2009 @ 10lbs 1oz, 22.25" He's 4 years old! And yup, he's still nursing.
