Default HELP - forgot part to my pump!!

I forgot a part to my pump today at home - I tied manually expressing but by the time i got the hang of it my break was over and I have gotten maybe
1/4oz from 1 side only and did not get to work on the other....
How bad is this for my supply??

    How old is baby?

Once probably won't destroy your supply, but you might be in some pain by the end of the day.

I feel ya....I went to pump in the car today on the way to swim, and I couldn't get both sides to pump. One side was super full for several hours

she will be 11 months next week.

thanks for the reply, I have worked so hard to keep her fed while at work, I wanted to cry when I saw what I did. It has been one of those days....

awe it should be ok.. Go home nurse her and then try and pump before you go to bed as long as you remove most of the milk you'll make more tomorrow,

thanks - I guess the worst thing will be my comfort. I already called the sitter and told them to hold off on her last bottle if she is not looking for it so hopefully she will be HUNGRY when I get home

Yeah, I wouldn't sweat it. Do what Andrea said. Just pump as much as you are able to after nursing.

Good idea! I've gone out on my lunchbreak to the nearest Target and BOUGHT new parts, or a manual pump (when I forgot the whole pump). It's stressful! We've all been there. I agree, esp at 11 months, one day without pumping won't permanently hurt your supply, but be careful to empty your breasts frequently tonight to avoid a clog.
