I just spent the last hour in a Moroccan restaurant with my 15 month old screaming about various things he couldn't have. That was fun.

we have to be very particular about the times that we go out. RIGHT after naptime. And for some reason he doesn't like japanese restaurants . Unbelievable.

If it makes y'all feel any better I have the "baby" doing the I am one and a half and non-verbal and super frustrated tantrums and the "big kid" doing the I am almost three and total pain in the behind tantrums. All.the.time. I went to Big Town Hero and had to leave
proud but exhausted working mammy to two high needs babies

    • my surprise baby: the one and only D-Man born 3 weeks late (5/5/08) at 9 lbs 14 oz and 21.5 inches, and
    • the shock H-Girl born about a week late (10/7/09) at 8lbs 15oz and 20.75 inches.

If I am here I am covered in baby (probably two) and fighting for control of the keyboard.

    Family beds are awesome

Wondering if you have PPD? Take the screening and see your doctor. You deserve to feel better.

Yes, we are right there with you. Mason starting having little tantrums when he was not even 12 months old yet. And now at 16 months if I don't give him what he wants, he either flings himself dramatically to the floor or he screeches so loudly that I think all the glassware in the house might shatter or he hits/bites me (or whoever happens to be standing closest to him.) Good times, right?!?
IRL all my friends call me Buff, Wife to CB since 10/11/2003

    Mom to DD - "MJ" born 9/2007 @ 8lbs 10oz, 21.5" She's 6 years old!
My journey nursing MJ started HERE, but we got through it and she breastfed 19.5 months, self-weaned on 5/17/09

Mom to my current nursling, DS - "ME" born 10/2009 @ 10lbs 1oz, 22.25" He's 4 years old! And yup, he's still nursing.

My 22 month old flings himself on the floor screaming. If I don't pay enough attention to him, he lifts up his head and smacks it back down, making a really loud *CRACK*. Then he screams some more. Fun times.

Don't worry mama, you get kind of numb after a while.

Could someone tell me when the numbness happens? Am I not drinking enough wine?
