My 8 week old eats for 25 minutes per breast. Is this normal? I thought it would be quicker by this point. I pump when i work and he takes it from the bottle in 10 to 15 minutes. Any suggestions?

That's a totally normal length of time for a 2 month-old to be feeding. Feeding length varies widely among babies. Some get the job done in a hurry, others take a long time. And when a baby nurses, he may spend a little extra time cuddling and nursing for comfort rather than for nutrition.

Are you using slow-flow nipples on your bottles? It's recommended that you do, to keep the baby from developing a preference for the rapid flow and easy rewards he can get from the bottle.
