Default When to let Baby Sleep

My DD is 5 weeks old. Since she was born I've been waking her up every 3 hours to eat during the day (that is, if she doesn't wake up herself). This helped tremendously in getting her to sleep better at night; we now get up to 6 hours of sleep most nights.

At what point do I stop waking her up during the day for feedings? Poops, pees, and weight, are all on target for her.

I don't want to experiment with this randomly becuase I treasure the sleep we're getting!

hey if its working.... and your getting some sleep...
watch out during periods of growth shes going to need to nurse more often and that might be at night also.

long as your getting the wets like this link says

Yes, during growth spurts all bets are off!! We can spend the entire day with her snuggled onto my breast and she's up every couple of hours at night. But I'd rather her eat, grow, and be happy than scream and cry.
