Thread: pumped and thawed milk

    Default pumped and thawed milk

So this week we have been pounded with snow and I had all my bottles ready for daycare and well they haven't been touched since Tuesday night and its now Saturday. Since my little man doesn't get bottles when he is home with me, these have been sitting and will sit until Monday. Plus he still has a bottle that was prepared last monday that never got used sitting at daycare.

My question is will the one bottle at daycare be bad and what about the bottles that are in the back of my fridge at home?? Its not a ton of milk, 9oz. in total but I would really hate to see it go to waste.

    Thanks in advance

You're good in the fridge for 8 days, so if I've done the math right they should be fine. You could always put the oldest in the freezer and pump an extra bottle tomorrow?
