My child has a wonderful new interest...lightly biting my nipple and slowly sliding off my breast (with teeth still clamped,) partially taking my nipple with him until it pops (OWWW) out of his mouth.
Ummmm...no sir! What in the world? Make him stop! He thinks it is hysterical. He used to gum when he was first getting teeth and never thought me wincing, yelping, or crying out in pain was funny. And he learned very quickly to stop. Now, he gets a huge kick out of it until I sit him down a few feet away from me, and then he's mad and wants to comfort nurse some more.
As of now the only way out is monitoring his feed like in the old days and hoping I catch him unlatching before he pulls another stunt. I'm 0-20. Any tips are greatly appreciated.
