    Default Antibiotics and acidophilus

I currently have a tooth infection and I am taking amoxicillin I am also taking acidophilus to prevent both my DS and me from getting thrush. I got the chewable kind that you refrigerate. How long should I take it for? I am taking it three times a day is that enough? Is there still a possibly that we can get thrush still? If so is there anything else I can do to prevent it? I am having oral surgery on the 20th so I will be put on antibiotics afterwords too!

Ouch! Is it thrush or Raynaud's phenomenon?

I am almost certain that you need to take the abx and the probiotics 4 hrs apart from each other. Def not at the same time.

We do probiotics as an everyday (or as often as I remember) supplement, not just after a round of abx.

Need to space out taking abx & probiotics. When I've been on abx 2 times a day I take probiotics at lunchtime.

Baby should also be on probiotics. They make some that is made for babies. I mix the powder in a little breastmilk and give it to baby using a medicine syringe.
