    Default Domperidone time-frame

Can anyone tell me when you started to see results from taking domperidone? I've been on 30 mg/3 times a day for about a week and haven't noticed any change. Dr. Newman writes that it can be immediate (change seen the next day) or can take a week. Just wondering what your experiences have been like.
    Thanks in advance!!!

hi there...i haven't taken domperidone myself...but if you don't see an increase in your milk supply with the next few days, i'd recommend talking to your doctor.

your doctor may increase your dosage of domperidone. the link states:
After starting domperidone, it may take three or four days before you notice any effect, though sometimes mothers notice an effect within 24 hours. It appears to take two to three weeks to get a maximum effect, but some mothers have noted effects only after 4 or more weeks. It is reasonable to give domperidone a trial of at least four, and better, six weeks before saying it doesn’t work.

    HTH! good luck!
