Default When did you notice your LO not nurse as often as he did

when he was a newborn? My DS is 4 mo and i'd say around 3 mo and 1/2. Is this normal? He used to nurse at least every hour and now he usually nurses 5 times a day, 6 if lucky. I think he's doing ok as far as weight, he weighs at least 13lbs (next check up is in 2 weeks). So when did your LO start nursing less often?

That sounds about right for us too. Mine was so fussy in the evenings until around 3 months. She was nursing non-stop.

mine certainly depends on the day. he nursed about tenx a day at the beginning and around 4mos it became 7-8 (obviously more gradually than that, but approximately). Now he's 11 mos old and when i'm home with him he still nurses 6-8 times a day. (one two or three are at night)

Right around 4 months. Before that DD nursed every hour, now its a whopping 2 hours. Feels like forever though!
