Thread: nursing toddler - painful!

    Default nursing toddler - painful!

My beautiful DS is 22 months old and LOVES to nurse, this is not the problem. My nipples have become very sensitive over the last few weeks, it's painful to latch, it's painful to nurse and I often cut the sessions short (much to his dismay) He's a real acrobat, but always has been and it hasn't been a problem. I'm really stymied - Has anyone else had a problem like this?

well, the thing is, I'm one of those wacky post-menopausal mom's, had my last period in March of 2007. I was kind of thinking the same thing, due to some other evidence, but... my ob-gyn has said it's impossible. But that's pretty much what they said about my little snowman. soooo, might there be any other reasons?

I would take a test. Then come back here ASAP and tell us what it says

What other 'evidence' are you talking about?

    wss....

    I bet your pg.

our bodies are funny that way we can be infertile for years and then all the sudden the body figures out what to do.

LOL!! I don't think I'm pregnant - but I could be ovulating I guess. Shannon, the other evidence has to do with secretions (ewww) TMI
I definately post if anything else comes up - thanks for making me smile!!
