    Default stopping the last feed...

how? just how? i only feed my son once a day, this has been the case for two months. i night weaned at 14 months and since then it's just been once a day before bed. I wouldn't care whether or not we stopped except from it really doesn't seem to be a milk thing any more, i'm back wearing my old bras and he really only swallows maybe twice but suckles for maybe half an hour. it's pure comfort and i'm feeling a little uncomfortable about it. i'm not planning to stop immediately but quite wanted some advice for when it does happen. any ideas?

he doesn't do bottles and at that time of day won't take a tippi cup. he does go down fine for daddy so may just have to commit to that til he gets the message, find a different bedtime role...

Make Daddy do it! Until he forgets about nursing, that is. And don't be afraid to offer a substitute- "You can nurse or have a story, which one do you want?"
Coolest thing my big girl said recently: "How can you tell the world is moving when you are standing on it?"
