Exclamation Feeling under the weather and lossing supply

I've been feeling a little sick the last 2 days and have noticed when I pump I am only getting half of what I normally do. Is this due to being a little sick w/a head cold? If so what can I do to get my milk to return. I'm not taking anything except for tylenol and hot showers, any suggestions to help me feel better w/out risking my supply?

sorry to hear that you're feeling under the weather. i do think that you being sick has a lot to do with the fact that you're not pumping as much. your body is not feeling itself right now so it's not responding to the pump as it normally would.

i would suggest drinking mother's milk tea (instead of normal tea)...the mother's milk tea may help you with your supply. also it is a good idea to stay away from meds since there are some cold meds out there that may decrease your supply.

the main thing is to drink lots of fluids and get lots of rest...hopefully, you'll be feeling better in no time!
