In the rush and push of ever-increasing technology and our urge to keep up (and help our children excel), too many families have moved to a constant state of harried movement from one busy activity to another.

Many parents who are determined to give their babies the best start in life through breastfeeding also want to offer their growing children opportunities to experience the richness of life, not necessarily in financial terms, but in terms of observance and appreciation for a life well lived.

By identifying to yourself and your children a desire for a calm family, you begin to set the stage and expectations to have just that. It is possible to regain the ability to access your natural-born state of calm awareness and well being.

In keeping with this theme, we have a lineup of topics that specifically pertain to family calm. They are sprinkled throughout the day.

Our core program includes a wide variety of sessions geared for parents, children, Leaders, and healthcare providers; covering breastfeeding, parenting issues, and a CERP track. There is something for the whole family, including lots of activities for children.

Our guest speakers include LLLI co-Founder Marian Tompson and Mary Sheedy Kurcinka, world-renowned author and licensed parent educator. Presenting the CERP track is Diana West, author and breastfeeding educator, and Vergie Hughes, program director of Lactation Education Resources.

Add to this an impressive list of LLL reps and guests, and our very talented Leader-speakers, and we are very pleased to offer this rich and exciting lineup!
