    Default Cramping

Just a question for people who weaned after 3 or so years: My daughter stopped BFing after 3 years at the beginning of August. My periods since then have been quite dramatic. I usually have PMS and cramps but I'm on my third one in a row with cramps that start many days ahead and my patience runs extremely thin for about 2 weeks beforehand.

Does weaning after such a long time make your hormones this wacky? Especially around your period? I know everyone is different but I thought I would see if anyone else has gone through this.

Btw, I don't think I've dried up as my chest is still quite big.

the older I get the worse my periods are getting it stinks...
But my mom said the same thing happened to her.

I know if I complain to the doctor he will just tell me to go on bc pills and I don't want to do that.

it does help when I take iron for some reason, I don't feal so drained and yucky!
