Thread: When did your period return?

Default When did your period return?

I'm just wondering if I'm completely abnormal... My daughter is 15 months old now and I still haven't gotten my period back.

Of course, this would not be a problem in any way shape or form, except that myself and DH would like to start trying for No.2

So now I'm starting to wonder whether I should be worried that it hasn't come back yet...

Hey! Just got mine back last Friday night... We're a week from 19 months. I think it came back 'cause we almost stopped nursing in the afternoon as E stopped taking afternoon naps. I'm happy it's back, feels like a new beginning, the next stage. I don't want to get pregnant just yet though. I want to nurse E until he's 2-3 years old at least before getting pregnant again as I've heard your milk supply dwindles when you get pregnant...

With DD it came back at 9 months. DS is 13.5 months and it is not back yet. Part of me hopes it never comes back.

Mine came back 17months PP but I had to stop pumping at 15months to encourage it. DS was and still feeds through the night and I was looking to night wean but since I work full time I was reluctant to give up these nursing sessions esp as its the only thing that helps with his painful teething. I would have had to night wean I think if period hadnt come back as want to TTC. I also believe without stopping the pumping I would still be waiting for AF. Hoping I see it soon again as want to conceive and hoping am ovulating - no point temping as never get enough sleep so relying on natural signs and keeping fingers crossed!
