If you really want to do something, you'll find a way, if you don't, you'll find an excuse.
Baby has been keeping us on our toes ever since his birth. And I'm sure will be full of surprises for his whole life.
For me - breastfeeding #2 (and pumping) has been easier in many ways because I knew what to expect and already had the confidence from successfully bf big brother for over 2.5 years. It was a funny transition to go from bf a big toddler who liked to talk with his mouth full to a teeny baby.
I am very very grateful for the bf support I have had for both kids. Both my and DH mom's bf all their kids at a time when bf just wasn't done. Our families have been super supportive, as have been all the doctors and nurses we've seen for both the babies and me.
After baby was born he was immediately placed on my chest and the nurses turned down the lights and made sure we had the space and time to get to know each other. We've had great LC support when we've needed it. Our pediatrician is very supportive of bf and has some LC on staff.
My work and boss in particular have been very flexible and supportive of pumping. I've never gotten funny looks while NIP, and boy has baby NIP everywhere!
And - of course - the wonderful support from all you here! The BEST place to get support or commiserate when baby is nursing all.night.long. Again. Thanks for being here!
The journey continues ....
Congratulations to you both!
Congrats Lynn! How wonderful to be here again.
