Default Is comfort nursing still considered a feeding?

My 12 month old only nurses at night before bed to fall asleep. If she wakes in the night, she comfort nurses for about 5 minutes until she falls back to sleep. Is this considered a feeding if she only gets about 2 ounces?

How do you know she's only getting 2 ounces?

My daughter would generally not drink more than 2 ounces out of a bottle, so I would count that as a feeding.

Is there some reason you are counting feedings?
