    Default Yogurt?

What age for yogurt? We had suspected a dairy intolerance when DS2 was itty bitty but he seems to be fine with whatever dairy I eat now so we're back to thinking it was just full on reflux.

I believe you can offer yogurt right from 6 months. I did at about 7 for both kids. I might be a little hesitant though if you had a suspected milk allergy/sensitivity.

I think Thomas was 9-10 months, and he loved it.

My peditrician just told me at my LOs 6 month check-up that I can offer the baby yogurt. I personally want to focus on fruits and veges now.

I have been waiting until 9 mo but can't remember why. I have just realized that she is 9mo and tonight we might have cheese

If I am here I am covered in baby (probably two) and fighting for control of the keyboard.

Did yogurt and cheese at 7mo. My dd seemed to have issues early on too but it was just reflux for us too and she's fine now at 8mos.

The only thing that is now supposedly not recommended at 6 months is honey.

It's changed a LOT since we had our first kiddos apparently.

Really? Anything but honey? these things need to stop changing on me my brain can't keep up!

Yesterday at WIC the nurse kept asking if I'd given him cheese or yogurt or berries yet and I was like 'uh...no he's only 7 months!"

She also told me I should be feeding him 3 solid food meals a day by 8 mo... I don't think X ate 3 meals until around 18 mo and still doesn't sometimes. Since when is it 3 meals by 8 mo?!

Recommendations for delaying intro of foods because of allergenicity has changed.

No-nos at that age are honey (not until after 1 yo) and foods that are possible choking hazards (nuts, raisins, grapes, etc).
