Well I feel like such a high maintenance mommy.

The Pedi's nurse didn't know what she is talking about. She was laughing and second guessing herself. She told me that Clindamycin is an L2 and when I looked it up it was an L3 but anyhow she said it was safe to take, to just "watch for diarrhea and uh.... blood in the stools". Seriously she was very clear she didn't know what she was talking about. Okay, so I'm glad I called....

Have a call into the dentist right now who probably thinks I'm completely nuts to see if the Erythromyacin would work since it is labeled as safer for nursing. Haven't heard back yet.... I bet he is wishing he didn't have us as patients . I hope not!

Doxycycline isn't a PCN drug. But it also causes HORRIBLE upset tummy. At least it did for me, bad enough where I actually considered not taking it, but I just toughed it out. I also wasn't BF then.

I highly recommend probiotics for you AND baby. For baby you can get infant probiotics & mix with a little EBM. I use a medicine dropper to give baby the probiotics & EBM mixture.
