    Default Top of the line

Ok - I have bought two breast pumps (double electric blah blah) and had them both go out on me.

I want to buy the top of the line breast pump - including hospital grade pumps.

Where can I buy this? If money was not an issue - what pump would you buy?

    THanks!

I bought the medela lactina select. I bought it directly from medela. It was 900 dollars but I have never regretted it for a second.

You have to call customer service. They can do it for you right over the phone.

THanks - I did call The lactina is 900. THere is also the symphony - but it is $1600 ($1300 on amazon). It doesnt seem like it is worth the extra money.

Other hospital grade pumps you can buy are Ameda Elite and Hygeia EnDear. Has anyone had experience with those?

    THANKS!

I haven't bought any of these. But I have used the Medela Symphony and Lactina Select. For a difference of $400 I'd say the Lactina is great. I REALLY liked the Symphony how it mimicked the baby on it's own. But if you're smart you should be able to figure that out yourself. And actually I found I had no difference in output when I tried to mimic my baby's nursing. I just keep it on the same setting the whole time.

I use the Ameda Purely Yours and its wonderful. I work in a hospital and they just switched to Ameda. They had Medela before. I've used both (hospital grade) and there was NO difference in output at all.
