I'd given him some like an hour before but didn't realize he still had it. He would nurse, stop to chew gum, nurse again...and after a few minutes of this he said "uh oh, milk has gum" and I looked down and his gum was stuck all over my nipple. It was funny and weird at the same time! He's old enough to chew gum and still nurses.

Your nursling squirts himself in the eye with your milk.

Your nursling makes a gobbling sound as he latches on.

You find your nursing bra in a mud puddle, out in your back yard (from walking nursling carrying it around like a security blanket).

DS gets to nursing, then switches sides several times before sitting up, looking me in the face, then spitting milk everywhere. then laughs histerically over the whole thing. (i have no idea where he learned spitting, but he does it with everything that goes in his mouth .)

My dd2 calls them bubba's. she will crawl on my lap and pull at my shirt saying bubba's peees? After nursing for a minute, she will pat my other 'bubba' and say other side, sounding more like otter side, and she will put the first one back in my bra and take out the next one.
She is also very strong. she has always been. People find it hilarious that I can walk around and nurse her hands free. She will use my waist band of my jeans as foot holds then wrap her arms around me and hang on to my shirt. Kinda like a little monkey baby....

YKYNATW ... (Not such a fun one) you lean down to kiss your toddler's head while he's nursing and he reaches up to push your face away, as if to say, "No. This is between me and the BOOB, we don't need YOU around, Mom!"

Well, honey, I got news for you.

...your toddler is humming/singing along to her favorite song while nursing only popping off to say the last word of the phrase.
