.... when you ask your baby, "Does daddy have milkies?" and he cracks up laughing. For the rest of the day, he keeps pointing at daddy's chest and laughing like, "Uh, mom is SO SILLY!"
You can call me JoMo!
Mom to baby boy Joe, born 5/4/09 and breastfed for more than two and a half years, and baby girl Maggie, born 7/9/12.
You find grass and sand in your bra (guess he was holding it and dumped there when nursing)
Your lo repeatedly tries to shove his foot in your mouth and rubs it all over your face while nursing
During nursing your lo sits up and signs "more" several times and then resumes nursing
Ds 9/09 nursed for 20 months
Dd 12/11 nursing a toddler again
We're getting there also!
...every time he sees your boobs he says (with a high pitch baby-talking voice like he's talking to a puppy): "Mamma! Mamma! Lala!" (Greek for mommy and milk)
Proud Momma to Emmanuel Stephen (2/14/09).
22 months and counting!
she runs up and "bobs for boobies" whenever her diaper is wet because she wants to feel better, but doesn't want her diaper changed...
Kirsten, Full-Time Mother To:
I am generally or or both
I cloth diaper and nurse in public, proudly!
And with our ped's blessing, I'm raising a vegetarian baby who is half my height at 1-year-old!
I think I belong here now!
YKYNAT When she walks up and lifts your shirt up when she wants milk (if my old 20-Year-Old self could see me now! lol)
She prefers standing up to nurse because she's got way more important things to do than take time to lie down
She thinks it's HILARIOUS to pop off and spit the milk out.
Jeanne (my middle name IRL)
Mommy to two girls (M & M), born Sept. '07 and Sept. '09
YNYNAT when they can fend off their brother while nursing with one hand, twiddle with the other and still manage to turn their body completely the other direction, without missing a beat!
Mommy to Gabriel born 12/25/06 Breastfed 12/25/06 - 12/09 and possibly here and there still
Madelyn born 9/24/09 delivered at home and caught by my husband
"To put the world right in order, we must first put the nation in order; to put the nation in order, we must first put the family in order; to put the family in order, we must first cultivate our personal life; we must first set our hearts right."
my fav still is when she says "thank you momma" when she pops off after nursing. The next fav is when she is nursing and I want to get up, I aske her if she is all done, and she will shake her head no, and grunt. If I still try to get up, she will push me back push her face into my boob and refuse to latch off. Ok, so I get the point and sit back!
Mommy of 4,
3 who I watch over, 1 who watches over all of us
J- 8/20/05 pumped breastmilk for 11 months due to his cleft lip and palate!
M- 10/17/07 my precious baby lives forever in her mommys heart
M- 3/31/09 my special gift, she helps heal her mommy and daddys heart. Nursed for 4 years and 10 days, self weaned the day her baby brother was born!
E-, new little miracle born 4/11/13, my BIG baby! Born 8.6 at 38 weeks. At 9 weeks nearly 17lbs, at 12 weeks nearly 20lbs, at 6 months nearly 23lbs, at 8 months nearly 25lbs and all from BREASTMILK
Hehe I love these. My guy is 16 months so we're just getting to this kind of stuff.
He just started requesting the other side just because he can.
