Your toddler points to one boob and says "I want dat one" and latches on, sucks for a little bit, unlatches, points to the other boob and says, "I want dat one..." latches onto the other side, and off we go...

Also, getting poked in the eye, mouth, ear, cheek, neck, etc. etc. etc. with her little finger while she's "nursing..."

My DD does this already, and she is 10 weeks. Especially in the morning. She will just laugh and laugh as she is latching with a super big smile on her face. Sometimes I wonder how she could be my kid, cause I am never happy to be up early in the morning, but then again, I can't remember anyone ever serving me breakfast in bed!

Mine's 14.5 months and at night he nurses a bit, then unlatches, turns his head away and rolls my nipple between his thumb and index finger. Then he latches on and ad infinitum (well, until he's drifted off I guess).

    This cracked me up today:

YKYNATW Your LO tries to nurse herself. I was changing DD and she started pulling the skin around her breast up to her mouth and trying to bend her neck down to nurse!!! Meanwhile she's saying "MA-MILK! MA-MILK!" I was just DH would probably think it was weird

I'm not nursing my toddler, but I am non-stop nursing around my toddler. He calls them Hannah's (DD's) boops. And today he has:

pulled down one side of my bra, then the other (over and over, each time saying "ooo pretty, pretty boops"
told me he couldn't go to sleep without a boop being out (I am usually nursing DD when he goes to sleep)
when i put DD in the carseat to get to his swimming lesson I had to take the boob out and she started to howl. DS said "no noo NO. Hannah'sa boop. Hannah'sa hungy. Hannah eat. No nooo Hannah'sa boop"

    • the shock H-Girl born about a week late (10/7/09) at 8lbs 15oz and 20.75 inches.

If I am here I am covered in baby (probably two) and fighting for control of the keyboard.

My little girl pulls off one breast yells 'SIDEs' at the top of her voice and grins at me waiting in anticipation to be switched. She then does the same on the other side about 30 sec's later

Oh and insists on twiddleing the raised mole on my chest whilst BFing

I love these stories they make my day. My DS is almost a year and he is so busy that I can't rock him and nurse unless he is tired. We were on the floor playing this week and He attacked me and latched on through my shirt ( I wasn't wearing a bra) I was laughing so hard as I pulled him off and lifted my shirt. I can't wait until he does more cute things to get the milky!
