    Default baby mum mums

we just found a new baby snack that is a total hit, so i thought i would pass it along. my son likes teething biscuits OK (eats half, throws the rest on the floor), same for unsalted crackers. but Baby Mum Mums (made from rice rusks, whatever those are) are a total hit -- he just ate two. not chewed up half and threw the rest on the floor, but two entire ones! i found them at wal-mart -- apparently they are a traditional baby snack in the orient.

That is the only brand of rusks carried out here. They scare me, though - made in China. Can't bring myself to trust any food product made there.

These have been available here for years. They do contain milk powder which is something to note if you're concerned about allergies.

But I agree, they are a tasty and portable snack! Roxie loves the banana flavoured ones.

These were one of my son's first solid foods. I was hesitant at first but figured it was ok. Glad I was right! Thanks for sharing.

My concern goes beyond the melamine. China has one of the most polluted water systems as far as chemicals. Anything produced using their water, I want nothing to do with. They also have a history of exporting things like black mold tainted drywall to our country... I just don't feel very safe with their product safety or concern for consumers and am not willing to risk it.
