    Default thrush question

Just a quick question, I believe that I have thrush on my nipples (burning sensation and purple nipples after pumping/nursing) but not sure what dr to go to. Do I go to my LO's peditrician or my dr??

I would think either one would be able to prescribe you meds. My son's pediatrician gave him Nyastatin drops and also prescribed ointment for me. Just make sure that whichever doctor you go to treats both you and baby as it will just keep transferring between the two of you if both aren't treated.

    Hi

Agree with pp also remember to treat for at least a week after you don't have any symptoms otherwise it will keep coming back (I have just discovered this) xx
Amy, very proud Mum to beautiful Gabriel, born 11/12/2009. We are looking forward to baby number 2 arriving in January

We loved , but stopped after 9 months because I went back to work. We think that cloth nappies rock

Could not have breastfed without the fab support of husband Chris and of course the LLL!!!!
