    Question need advise asap..milk safety

    i made a horrible mistake i pumped monday at 2.30 left work a little after 5 bottle inside pump bag [forgot my cooler] around 8 that evening i realized i left the bottle in bag it was still chilled i put it in fridge but im not sure if its still good to feed to him he would need it for thurs if so???? help its going to crush me if i have to dump it

    It's fine. Breast milk is fine for 8 hours at room temp, so if it's cool, it's probably alright even longer. Either way you're ok. Sniff it to be sure there's no sour smell.

    Also, usually if it's bad the baby won't drink it.

    I've given my lo milk that sat in my bag all night, I really didn't want to waste it and it smelled ok. He was fine.

    yep, you should be fine.
    Nursed my sweet daughter 3 years, 3 mos.
