    Default Solid solids

So we've been giving DS pureed baby food. So do I have to wait a while to give him finger foods? What are some good foods that would help him gain weight?

Avacado and banana are high calorie foods that kinda bridge the gap between mush and finger foods. But you don't need to wait for finger foods. Go for it and good luck, DS is only really sort of eating and he is 20 months.
proud but exhausted working mammy to two high needs babies

    • my surprise baby: the one and only D-Man born 3 weeks late (5/5/08) at 9 lbs 14 oz and 21.5 inches, and
    • the shock H-Girl born about a week late (10/7/09) at 8lbs 15oz and 20.75 inches.

If I am here I am covered in baby (probably two) and fighting for control of the keyboard.

    Family beds are awesome

Wondering if you have PPD? Take the screening and see your doctor. You deserve to feel better.

I have given my son: avocado, puffs, cheerios, bananas, (finger foods).

I have also made my own: sweet potatoes, chicken & peas & carrots mixture, squash, & string beans.

You can start with a little at a time and see how he breaks it down in his mouth.
