Default Do I have the right flanges??

I have been exclusively pumping for a week with the Medela Lactina hospital grade pump that I am renting from my pediatricians office. I got some conflicting information online about sizing. One website says that if too much of your areola is being pulled into the flange, it is too small for your breast and you need a larger flange but the Medela site says that if too much of your areola is being pulled in you need a smaller flange. This makes more sense to me but I wanted to be sure.
Don't have health insurance right now so I can't go to my LC to get sized. Some but not a ton of my areola is being pulled in but I still seem to be able to pump an ok amount ( about 3 oz in two hours). I am just trying to maximize my pumping and wanted to make sure everything was as good as it could be, plus there is a little rubbing on my areola and I don't want that to become problematic as I am pumping 8-10 times a day. Any suggestions?? Also if I need a smaller flange, where is a good place to purchase them online as I have looked around and no one seems to carry the smaller flange?

www.Target.com is about the best online store I have found for Medela replacement parts other than the Medela website, themselves.

The Medela site info is correct if too much goes in, you need to size down. Additionally, my LC told me to do a dime test. If your nipple is the size of or smaller than a dime you need to size down. Mine are smaller so I use a 21mm flange. Most pumps come with 24mm. HTH.

Nope, I said nipple chica. Nipple.

ETA: I was confirming what she read on the Medela site about too much of your Areola being pulled into the flange. But to make sure that you are using the right size, the the dime/nipple test was what was recommended to me.

Wow. There are people who have them larger than dimes? WOW.

Mine aren't very big, but my areola is huge. So I needed a larger size flange.

ETA: Picture me getting a dime out of my purse right now...

    I've seen some big nipples.

    @ bolded.

ETA: You needed a bigger size flange because your Areolas are big??
