Default OALD & Fast Flow Nipples

Hi there. My little one is just over 5 months old and I've recently discovered part of her nursing strike may be due to OALD.

I've had her on slow flow nipples this entire time to try and keep her on the breast . . . but considering OALD, would it be better to change to fast flow nipples on her bottles? Or would that potentially frustrate her due to the waxing and waning of the milk flow from the breast?

    Thanks.

    More information:

The OALD or forceful letdown is not because of oversupply; my supply runs a little low instead.

I've tried baby-on-top positions; she refuses to attempt to latch on in those positions.

I can't feel my letdown, so the only way I know she's being overpowered is when she sputters and pulls away. After that happens she refuses to attempt to re-latch.

    Thanks for your help ladies!

I actually don't have any advice. I am impressed by how well you know your baby and your body. You are doing a great job in my opinion, so just keep doing what you're doing. And certainly try the fast flow nipple if you want. Just make sure to pace her feeding so she doesn't chug too much milk and get a little tummyache.
