    No. If you need to thin the babyfood you're making, you can use regular tap water, formula, or best of all, breastmilk.

    to the PP. Breastmilk is what I used when I first introduced solids, especially if it was something I hadn't offered before. After that I used tap water if the food needed it.

    I used filtered water for my BL who is now 8 months. Also you may want to research using distilled water, atleast for the little one as it is linked to causing mineral deficiencies. You can check out this link
