I am saying they are NOT able to process salt at all because their livers are not fully developed and should NOT be fed it AT ALL.
And I was saying I forgot that until she posted it. I doubt one serving of spagettios damaged her liver. I learned it after I fed DJ a pickle at 10 months and PTM linked me up the info, I couldn't change it, but I didn't do it again. And I wouldn't act like it's not a big deal. Because IMO it is. So you posted because you weren't sure right? Salt is no good before a year. So avoid all processed foods for sure. Feed baby only whole foods. (And not bacon.)

OMG Now I am freaking out a little! We got so excited that she was so happy about eating that we have been trying all sorts of stuff. DD2 is such a poor eater and always has been that when DD3 started being interested in table foods already we thought..."Hey, how 'bout ____". She's had all sorts of stuff. I feel really bad now. Should I mention this to the pediatrician when we go for her well check next week?

No, not all kinds. Let me think now...we've given her mac & cheese a few times, spaghettios once, spaghetti once, chicken noodle soup 2 or 3 times...the rest of the time it's been baby food or whole food like bananas and wheat bread.
I'd say all in all she's had maybe 7 meals in the last 2 weeks that were processed foods.

Well STOP. Go over to Kelly mom and poke around. I'd link it up for you but I have no skills. How old is she?

Oh believe me! I will stop! She's just now a little over 9 months.

Do you think she would have had some kind of signs of "illness" like an upset tummy or something? Not saying that because she hasn't that I will keep feeding her that just trying to ease my conscience that I haven't hurt my child!
