    Default Mastitis

This may be a silly question, but what is it and how do you know if you have it? I seem to be having a problem on the right side where the ducts really pop if I'm overfull and they don't seem to empty because I can still feel them (but not see them) after she nurses. Could that be mastitis or a plugged duct? How do you treat it?

I've had mastitis and it's no treat. It does sound like something's up but it's hard to say without seeing it, KWIM? This link has great info on how to tell if you have it and what to do about it:
