    BLARG!!!

I will throw me a party when I can get RID of that thing! I have so much confidence in my breastfeeding relationship, but pumping always causes the most stress for me. I always have to hope I can pump enough.

One thing to be grateful for: as long as I'm pumping, my job allows me to shove all my hours into four days and I get three consecutive days off. I will go back to five days when I stop.

Sometimes I want to give up. Sometimes it is just too much to handle, but when I look at my baby girl I try to keep going.

Just do mama. Even if it's a PITA. Look at that thriving baby and carry on.

As long as it takes mama. Most carry on until about a year or so, others have to keep going a bit longer because their babes need the nutrition or are not that interested in solids.

I was actually going to post something similar today. I have days when I just am SO SICK of pumping, I just want to quit. Hang in there. I just try to remember, the feeling (for me anyway) will pass and tomorrow will be better. But, I sure look forward to my no-pump days on the weekend.
Today is just one of those days, KWIM?

oh ok my daughter loves solids but still nurses quite a bit so i suppose i will continue to pump until she is a year and then quit after that? So then they don't get bottles anymore after that?

I don't know mama. There are no hard and fast rules. If she will take a sippy, then by all means. My DD was almost 3 when she gave up the bottle for naps. Nothing else went in but milk. She would have other fluids in a sippy, but only milk in her bottle. I played it by ear.

I agree! I sooo look forward to the weekends when I put the pump in the closet and don't think about it again until Sunday night. I pump while I'm in the car so the pumping isn't what bothers me it is the hook up and unhooking and the tubes and the storage bags and bottles and all the crap that goes with it. BUT...it is much less hassle than formula and much, MUCH better for our LO's!
