Default When to pump after fenugreek?

I've been taking fenugreek 4/3 times a day and I've noticed a definite increase in my supply. I am able to get away to pump 3 times a day at work. Can someone tell me when to take the fenugreek and when to pump afterwards in order to maximize the amount of expressed breastmilk? How long does it take for the fenugreek to affect my supply? Or does it matter at all? Thank you so much!

hi there, and welcome to the forum!

i don't think it matters when you take the fenugreek...as long as you notice that there is an increase in your milk supply. i also take fenugreek, and they say that you should notice an increase within 48-72 hours of starting fenugreek. i also pump 3 times a day...9:30am, 12:30pm, and 3:30pm. sometimes i'll pump at night before going to bed. during each pump session, i am able to get between 4-5oz...which is up from my typical 3oz per pump session. one way to get more milk while you're pumping is to massage your breasts!
