Question Question On Today's Pumping Schedule

Lu was up and a bit clingy this morning before I left (a tooth finally broke the surface). I nursed her just before I left at 7:15. My pump schedule is 9am, then 12:30pm, then 4pm. Should I pump now even though she nursed before I left home and then continue on as normal? Or can I safely skip the first session and not have any issues tomorrow? TIA.

If it were me, I would pump anyway. 5 hours might be a little too long to go without pumping for me.

Plus you don't want to tell your body that you don't want that milk at 9 am. Even if you don't pump as much out today, you're still going to be pumping at that time the rest of the week. I know how tempting it is to skip a session!

True. And I didn't get much. I only pumped the side that she didn't nurse on - 2 ounces.

    Thanks ladies.
