    Default More Self Feeding Options

LO is 13.5 months and looking for more things that she can eat on her own. Breakfast this morning was french toast and she loved it!!

The issue is that in the morning, in order to get her out the door to daycare, we need to get breakfast into her quickly. It's easier to have toddler cereal and feed it to her. However, it's NOT easier if she won't eat it.

So what are some easy, quick self feeding options for the morning? I'd really like to stay away from the cereal bars / prepared stuff that's full of sodium and whatnot.

Aimee loves whole wheat toast with cheese on it with fresh fruit. Cottage cheese with fruit is a big hit, too. Other things already mentioned she likes - boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, muffins...

I make homemade toaster pastries that you can then freeze and pop in the toaster as you go. The sweet potato pancakes freeze pretty well also, and heat up nicely in a toaster.

Ditto on the boiled eggs-our 17mo races to the kitchen if we ask if he wants them We boil a bunch at once and then they're ready for grabbing anytime. Any kind of fruit is great too!

DS often has a banana for breakfast, or a grilled cheese sandwich, or an english muffin with cheese. Pancakes worked until he decided he didn't like them anymore. (Cold pizza works as well for him as it does for me on occasion)
