Are you going to goto the OT feeding therapist? We took DS when he was 14 months and that is where I learned that Logan had sensory 'issues'. So his feeding therapy would start out every week with OT stuff dealing with his sensory problems and then working with the different foods. We worked with different kinds of balls that vibrated, she had this big swing thing, messy play, all sorts of neat stuff.

The OT called it tactile defensiveness when she did the initial evauluation, I never pursued it any further than that though.
Remember the feeding OT is still an OT and you should bring it up right away before the evaluation.
