that heat and massage will help stimulate milk production? i dont remember where i heard it so it may not be true but if it is i certainly want to know. i have been trying it more lately and my supply does seem to be increasing, but i dont know if that is the reason or not. thanks

I have heard that it can help with the letdown, making it a little faster. i don't think it helps with the actual increase of milk production, but with the amount of milk you can get during pumping (or nursing). i massage my breasts while i pump, and definitely notice that i can get a lot more milk. also, warm compresses, as the pp stated, help with a quicker let-down.
