I just read a fabulous book called "Feeding Baby Green: The Earth-Friendly Program for Healthy, Safe Nutrition" by Alan Greene, MD. In it he says that many babies take six to ten introductions to a food before they readily accept it. But most parents give up after just one or two tries. He suggests offering a disliked food every other day. If your baby rejects it, move on to something s/he does like and try again tomorrow or the next day.

He also cites studies that have found that variety begets variety. Babies who were given food that changed daily were more likely to enjoy all new food. (This study was done with veggies).

So keep going! Give those green veggies on a regular basis and your baby should eventually learn to like them. It's just a matter of regular exposure at this point.

Anyway, it was a really good book - I highly recommend checking it out!
