    Default Best pump for relactation?

Hi, I am looking for a double, electric pump. How is the Medela Mini Electric? I have seen one for a good price and would like to buy it, however I need to know if it is up to the job?!

Im not sure about that model, When i relactated for my dd i used the Lactina. To build or re-establish your supply its best to have a hospital grade pump. HTH

From reading your posts it seems as though we are attempting to do the same thing. My daughter is 6 months old and we have not been breastfeeding since she was three months. The lactation consultant suggested that though the medela mini electric is a good pump for moms with milk to spare, for relactating you need a hospital grade pump. I know in Canada you can rent the Medela symphony (the one I am currently very up close and personal with). She said if I couldn't find a rental pump the Medela freestyle or Pump-in-Style are fairly good alternatives. It is also best to pump both sides at once.
