cooking oils and spices should generally be okay - if you're worried about reactions introduce them one by one (such as the only new item with foods LO has already eaten)

prepared foods that have ingredients baby has already eaten should be okay BUT many prepared foods (like pasta sauces) are very high in salt which is NOT good for baby

I gave DS these a couple of times and he seems to like them too.

Broccoli last night. I think one or two bites made it to the mouth.

I'm pretty sure Whole Foods has them. I think I purchased mine at Babies R Us.

Not worried so much about reaction... I guess I worry about feeding her foods we eat because of all the added ingredients.

What does everyone put on their babies toast? Natural fruit preserves ar OK, right? My LO still doesn't like water much, but I feel with all the new foods and especially the dry ones she's get parched... but still won't take water.

I haven't given her toast yet - chicken.

She did try some soup last weekend (butternut squash and sweet potato). I think she liked it.

I tried applesauce over the weekend, but he got a bad diaper rash, so we won't be doing that one again.
