Default Is it possible to get daytime supply back

    Hi Ladies,

I need some help and am new to this sight. Last week I decided that I was going to wean my 4 month old. I was having a bad week . . . anyway, I have weaned 3 daytime feedings (10:30, 1:30, and 4:30). I was still nursing the 7:30 pm, mid of night, and 7:30 am. I have changed my mind and want to stick with breastfeeding. Is it too late to get my daytime supply back? If not, how do I do it and how long will it take? Do I need to supplement with formula in the mean time?

    Thanks for your help!!

It's totally possible to regain your daytime supply. These links may be helpful: Weaning from Formula Supplements, and Help- My Baby Won't Nurse!

You can start offering the breast immediately, and offering a formula supplement afterward if the baby still seems hungry. Pumping after nursing is also helpful in rebuilding your supply.

Good luck! This is totally do-able!
