    Default nursing blister???

so my DS had this small red spot on his lip liike a blood blister that the doctor thought was a nursing blister at his 6 week check-up. well he's 2 1/2 months now and it seems to be getting bigger or swelling or something. Does this sound like something from nursing? should I be taking him to the doctors? I'd appreciate any advice TIA

My son gets nursing blisters on the middle of his upper lip, but they are not blood-filled.... they're clear, and then the skin falls off and he gets a new one. I haven't heard of blood-filled blisterse there before. Could it possibly be a latch problem? Do you think it bothers him?

my dd had a couple of nursing blisters...like the pp stated, they were clear and the skin would fall off in a few days. if the blister on your ds seems to be getting bigger or swelling up, i'd bring him in to see your pediatrician.

at least call the nurse and see what she says. If its getting bigger and not smaller it might be infected.
