    Default pumped milk with thrush

    what do I do with the milk I pumped while both me and my son have thrush?!?!

    -Became a mom of 2: Brendan Joseph was born 01-08-09
    -Breastfed both of them for one whole year
    -Now a new mom of 3: Emily Theresa born 12-14-11
    -Breastfeeding again and hope to go the full year!

    I/we have thrush and I was told I could still give it to LO but doon thereafter it's pumped - within days. Don't freeze/store it as that won't kill the yeast in the milk (if it's indeed in your milk)

    Yes, you can only use that milk while being treated for thrush.
    If you freeze it and use it later on, you will most likely cause your LO to develop thrush again and start the awful cycle again.
