Default How much water for 9 m/o?

LO is using a sippy like a champ, but I've only added distilled water to it. I didn't want her to fill up on it so I took it away (though she didn't want me to). I think she had 1/2-1 oz. water. I don't want to pump because I don't like messing with my supply. (Oald issues). How much water could be too much, do you think?

I've read (somewhere? can't remember where) that they can have up to 4oz of water or diluted juice per day. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong!

With DD at that age I'd offer her a sippy cup of water with each meal of solids and let her drink as much as she wanted. She never drinks much, it seems like much more than it is! I'd say she never drinks more than about 2-3oz a day, and that's without restricting how much she has. As long as you aren't offering a cup of water in place of nursing, I don't think you have to worry too much. If it were me, I'd only offer the cup with solid meals and just nurse the rest of the time.
