    Question skins

Should I peel the skins off of any fruit prior to feeding to my DD? I'm sure she would love to try some cherries and grapes.

I wouldn't bother peeling them. Just make sure they're cut small enough not to be choking hazards, and take out any seeds/pits.

I always cut grapes and cherries into quarters, peels on, and DD never had a problem with them.

    And grapefruits.

That's where a lot of nutrients are, and I didn't want to be peeling apples for DS for years to come (I know someone's 6yo who still won't eat skins.) But make sure to scrub them well first!

Never peeled thin-skinned fruit unless DS specifically asked me to. At 3 yo sometimes he likes us to cut the skins off fruit and then he eats the soft part AND the skin but separately.
